This is a beautiful combination mineral piece from the famous Trepca Mines in Kosovo. It has small rhombohedral mangano calcite crystals, with clear quartz crystals. There is an iron mineral on the surface of some crystals.
The calcite crystals have an outer layer of dolomite. In areas where the dolomite is not present, the calcite reacts to 365nm long wave UV with an orange color.
